Epidermal Skin Cancers
South Africa has the second highest incidence of skin cancer in the world after Australia as far as Caucasians are concerned. The good news is that skin cancer can be prevented by respecting the sun. The three most common types of skin cancers are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. The purpose of this course is to improve awareness, promote early detection and effective management of epidermal skin cancers. 2 CPD points are allocated.
