Rehabilitation, Mental Health Resilience and Breast Cancer

A cancer diagnosis and treatment are often traumatic events, and many women struggle to cope during this period. Rehabilitation care can repair and restore the physical and mental side effects after many cancer treatments leave patients weak, fatigued , with psychological distress and in pain. This webinar will explore the role of rehabilitation in supporting Living Life Beyond Breast Cancer. Ambassador: Ms Lindiwe Ntuli-Tloubatla “Cancer Ambassador” was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early forties. She will speak about mental resilience and how she dealt with challenges that arose during her diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
