As the cesarean delivery rate has increased so has the number of patients becoming pregnant who have experienced cesarean section in a prior pregnancy. Patients may undergo vaginal birth after cesarean section either as a planned procedure or due to precipitant labor. While Trial of Labour is an acceptable, generally safe practice, serious, potential complications may occur.
