Management of Occupational Injuries and Diseases

Worldwide, approximately 350,000 workplace fatalities and 300 million workplace injuries occur annually. Per 1,000 workers, occupational injuries reduce the healthy lifespan by 3.5 years. This seminar will review the causes and presentation of occupational injuries, review laws that govern compensation and highlight the role of the interprofessional teams in its management and prevention. 1 CPD point has been allocated.
