Testing and Initiating HIV Positive Children onto ARVs

This Entrustable Professional Activity(EPA) is a component of the Diploma of HIV Management focusing on: - Identifying children with HIV infection - Interpreting and managing HIV test results in neonates, infants and children - Preparing the newly diagnosed child or neonate for ART initiation - Initiating and monitoring of ARVs in neonates - Initiation, management and monitoring of ARVs in children - Initiation and completion of CTX prophylaxis in HIV positive children 2 CPD point is allocated.
