The Role of the Genetic Counsellor

The Clinical Care Platform aims to provide educational programs to support the understanding and awareness of genetic information and testing among healthcare professionals. Advances in human genetics encourage the integration of genetic information and testing in the prevention and management of medical conditions. Through a series of lectures and discussion, the genetic counselling seminars will enhance multidisciplinary collaboration around current topics in genetics, improve execution of best practices regarding genetic testing, and positively impact the patient experience.
